Most of our clients had already worked with another trainer, or have been following the best advice they can find online. Most of our clients had been working hard to train their dog for months, sometimes years, and for little improvement for them or their dog. All of our clients cared about their dogs more than themselves, and wanted real transformation before it got too much.
Emotionally astute and physically indestructable, when it came to chasing other dogs Luna wouldn't take no for an answer (no mater what was being offered). After trying everything that had been recommended, her dedicated guardians came to us for personalised coaching that could actually make a difference.

When you came to K9 Contact, what issues/goals did you have with your dog?
The main goal we had was to get Luna to the point where she would come back first time, everytime. Most importantly while playing with other dogs.
How would you describe the change in your dogs behaviour?
It's as if we have a new dog! When we first came to Aaron, Luna was a nightmare when it came to other dogs. She was so hyper-fixated on playing with the dogs that she wouldn't listen to a word we said. However, after 6 sessions with Aaron, she listened first time! We have gone from having stressful walks to having the best walks ever 😃
What about your experience with us most stood out to you?
Aaron takes the time to explain everything in as much or as little detail as you want. He's willing to train your dog anyway you would like - as he says, "there are lots of different ways to train a dog, it's about finding the right one for you and your dog!"
If we could have continued to do something more, or done differently, what would that be?
Couldn't have done anything else!
We offer in-person dog training to demanding dogs across Central Scotland, with most of our Coaching Sessions taking place in Stirling.

Our 1:1 coaching is designed to fit the life you actually live. Yes we have flexible booking and super adaptable resources. But the real difference is that we'll actually be talking to each other in-person, over WhatsApp, and in our weekly check-in calls (hi, it's me Aaron - i'd be your coach). We'll plan out our time together and be prepared for things being a bit unpredicatable. Your homework is built for you so as to be achievable. You can bring family to session with you too, that's totally fine.
There will never be the perfect time. If we're lucky we get 12 summers with our dogs. We already know that you care, so lets start showing up for them together.

Where can you access our services?
We offer our services within Stirling, and the immediatly surrounding area. Don't worry if you're further away, we sometimes travel, and if possible you can always come to us.
We typically meet at Ladywell Park in Bannockburn, or another suitable location.

We are currently working to achieve the most rigirous dog training certification available, the IACP-CDT.
What are we up to just now?
We're constantly learning and working to improve ourselves in ways that make a real difference. That's why we're working towards the rigirous IACP (CTD) Certification.
Theory and practice, done well, bounce off one another and make the whole thing better. We're forever burried in books, podcasts and journals advancing our understanding. Actually just now I'm taking on a systemitized review by way of background reading.
I'm currently trying to find a MRes to study, but there are only a handfull of people on the planet who do what I do, and nobody else in the dog industry.
Behind the scenes we work to improve the lives of dogs and their guardians across the UK, by working with leading professionals to give our dogs the best.
