The programme is planned for 6 weeks, but can take longer (~8 weeks) for some situations. You'll need to attend your weekly 1:1 session (flexibly booked by you via your client portal), to attend your weekly check-in call, and to complete your bite-sized homework and record it in the log-book as well as occasionally provide simple videos of your training. Sounds like alot for a busy schedule? We'll work together to not only make it very achievable, but hopefully enjoyable!

Yes, probably. Our appraoch to dog training is built from a foundational understanding, which means that we're not confined to a specific method or equipment. At every stage we can give you a number of ways to go about your training, of course highlighting our recommendation, so that you can be genuinly take the lead in your dog's training. The only detail to this is that if you do insist on applying a method which is ineffective or will take a long time, we will likely advise you against it, but will help if you're happy that the programme may not be completed. Note: Seriously harmful or risky training practice will receive a written warning, and potential dismissal from training (we're talking about beating your dog with a stick levels of harm).

No, they are very different, e-collars have 100 levels for delicate control ranging from a gentle static tickle to an aversive dull nip. Shock collars were clumsy devices used in the mid 20th century purely as punishment- very different. There are those in the industry who intentionally try to confuse the two (you'll often find this from certain TV and social media faces). We reguarly demonstrate using the e-collar on ourselves at full level. Remember: you are the one holding the remote. E-collars are currently the only technology on Earth that allow us to mantain consistent communication with our dogs while off-leash in any environment, and also the only way to hold them accountable during those tough situations. You'll first practice with your coach wearing the e-collar, and you'll get to feel it for yourself. It is introduced as you would a leash, and is used in a functionally identical way (just wireless). Note: If you want to have your dog trained in Livestock/Wildlife Avoidance Training (L/WAT), please do this first as it cannot be done once we teach the dog that its you holding the remote (L/WAT is not a service we offer).

Its rare that we can't help, but if it does happen then we'll refund 100% of the cost of your programme (that's £825). We have 60 days (~8 weeks) to see a significant improvement in your dog, which we'll measure against our agreed goals when we set-out. So noticable improvement throughout, or serious improvement in one area, would count. Provided that you fully engaged, specifically: attended all 1:1 sessions, check-in calls, completed your log-book (>80% of days), and used the remote support to send us at least 3 videos (>30sec each) of your homework. Ultimately we work for that testimonial at the end. If things aren't working out despite engaging, then issue your refund within 30 days no questions asked. Note: The programme includes a remote collar worth £330. You can either keep the collar and be refunded £495. Or return the collar complete including packaging and in good condition for the full refund. We recommend not throwing anything out until after the 60 days.
